Odeon Beat
Club’s “Burn the Flag” single has been
generating rave reviews and radio airplay worldwide and stateside.
Recorded and mixed at La Chunky it is a true 21st century anthem with
equal measures of bittersweet undercurrents and a rollocking
joie-de-vivre. Watch out for the follow-up which is currently being
recorded at the studio.
Glasgow’s hotly-tipped art-rockers Isosceles have become
regular visitors to the studio. Their next single “Kitch
Bitch / Watertight” is released on 21st April. The Isosceles
boys love the La Chunky studio set-up. Where else would they
get to play with such a wide range of fun audio toys and gadgets and
not have to ask permission from the museum curator.
Check out the Blizzards. Hailing from Ireland we have helped them on
their way to a couple of top-ten tunes in their home country. Their
first album has gone platinum and they are now working on their second
album in Ireland with top American producer Michael Beinhorn.
Demos for this album were developed and recorded at La Chunky Towers
and looks like we will be getting a crack at mixing it too.
Watch out for the debut singles from new Domino Records signings
Correcto. Their 2-track demo recorded recently at La Chunky helped them
on their way to a record and publishing deal and if there’s
any justice they will be as big as the Franz Ferdo boys.
